Classic mobile applications will not be available for new users to download from May 31, 2024. The new and enhanced Adobe Connect mobile applications feature an upgraded user experience. While we have tried to incorporate almost all the features of the classic applications into the new mobile applications, certain features have not been included as they were deemed less useful from the mobile user's perspective. While users may be able to join rooms from older versions of Adobe Connect, upgrading to Adobe Connect version 11.4.6 or later is recommended for the best mobile experience. The names of both the iOS and the Android application will be Adobe Connect. While the Android application is already called Adobe Connect, the iOS application is currently called Adobe Connect New. The name of the iOS application will also be changed to Adobe Connect with the release of the next iOS application post May 31, 2024.

Key milestones March 23, 2024: From the upcoming Adobe Connect 12.6 version, users can only enter rooms using the new mobile applications. Any user accessing Adobe Connect 12.6 rooms from classic mobile applications will be prompted to install the new application.May 31, 2024: Adobe Connect classic mobile applications will be removed from the Google Play and Apple App Store. While current users can still access the application on their phones, new users won't have the option to download and install it any longer. For Licensed or Managed Service Deployments, rooms on Adobe Connect 11.4.6 or later will be accessible through the new mobile applications.
