This includes appointment requests and responses. You can act on any message class that IMS recognizes.Since IPM.NOTE.RIGHTFAX is not a known message class, IMS is unable to act on it. We must limit the message classes in this way to ensure that IMS does not run into issues when trying to act on non-standard item that may be missing information required to process it. To my view the voice mail attachment is as much a part of a Topic as emails so I wish to file them the same way. Moderator: ClearContext Support Difficulty Filing Message or Assigning Topic I occasionally get a message in my Exchange Inbox that can not have a topic assigned to it... Even though I try it never shows as being assigned. When I click on the file msg button it will also NOT file the message. I haven't found a workaround yet... Assuming it's in the Inbox, try dragging it to another folder, then back to the Inbox. Now can you assign a Topic?This issue occurs when you are trying to act on a message that doesn't have a thread record. A thread record is assigned when a message is received in the Inbox and processed while ClearContext is running. If you try to act on messages that haven't been processed by ClearContext then you won't be able to assign a Topic. The error can also occur if another process or add-in changes the message at the same time that IMS does, causing a conflict. If the latter is the source of your problem, try following directions here to adjust your scoring timing.Please let me know if this helps and/or if I can provide additional detail. The quickest way to do this follows:a. Close the Reading Pane if it's open.b. Right click a header (i.e. “Subjectâ€￾) and select Field Chooserc. Select “All Mail Fieldsâ€￾ in the drop down listd. Locate “Message Classâ€￾ in the list below and drag it to the headerse. Locate the tell me the value of the Message Class on the missing taskf. You can then click and drag the Message Class header off of Outlook to remove it from your viewThanks!
